Unlocking Mita’s Costumes in MiSide: A Complete Guide
In MiSide, Mita isn’t just the mysterious force trapping you in an increasingly strange world—she’s also your girlfriend. This unique relationship allows you to unlock a variety of outfits for her, adding some fun and personality to the game. Currently, there are three costumes available, and each can be unlocked by completing different tasks or puzzles hidden throughout the game.
To unlock the School Uniform, you’ll need to progress to the chapter titled "Together At Last." This is when you first meet Mita, and you’re given the chance to explore her bedroom. After speaking with Mita, she will sit down, allowing you to freely explore the room. The uniform is hanging off the wall, just outside the closet. Interacting with the clothes will prompt a conversation with Mita, and once the dialogue concludes, the school uniform will be unlocked. You can then access the costume from the Main Menu's Costume options.
The Santa Dress is the second costume, and it’s a festive outfit that you can unlock during the chapter “Things Get Weird.” This is where you’ll get to play a mini-game with Mita in the Living Room. Upon entering, you’ll have the option to play the game “Penguin Piles” on the console. To unlock the Santa Dress, you need to beat Mita in this mini-game by earning a higher score than her in both rounds. Winning both rounds will not only unlock the Santa Dress but also award you the Penguin Conundrum! achievement. After that, you can select the Santa Dress through the Costume options in the Main Menu.
The third costume, the Vampire Outfit, can be unlocked in the chapter “She Just Wants To Sleep.” At the beginning of this chapter, you’ll encounter Sleepy Mita, but instead of talking to her right away, head straight to the Kitchen. In the Kitchen, you’ll find five pumpkins that need to be touched in the correct order. The sequence is randomized every time, so you’ll need to memorize the order as you go. Once you light up all five pumpkins correctly, the Vampire Outfit will be unlocked. This costume will then be available for you to select from the Costume options in the Main Menu.
These are the three costumes currently available in MiSide. Each one adds a unique flair to Mita’s character, and they can be swapped freely from the Main Menu once unlocked.
